Lake Como
The Color of Emotion at Passalacqua
A night to remember at the exquisite Passalacqua — an 18th-century villa on the shores of Lake Como, recognized as Europe’s most beautiful hotel. Passalacqua hosted an unforgettable evening rooted in emotion, connection, and sensory exploration.

A curated gathering of remarkable minds

A historical “Color Palette” dating back to the late 18th and early 19th century, long before Pantone ever existed
A curated gathering of remarkable minds from fashion, technology, medicine, media, innovation, and sports came together for The Color of Emotion, a concept brought to life through the Power of Words.
What was intended to be a three-hour experience grew into five hours of uninterrupted connection. Every dish was carefully curated with meaning and intention, aligning flavor, color, and emotion. The floral arrangements were not only beautiful but chosen for their fragrance and texture, touching each of the senses in the most thoughtful way.

A night to remember at Passalacqua
More than an event, it became a living dialogue — raw, real, and profoundly human. The conversations reached beyond surface-level and into the spiritual and emotional. Each guest walked away with a piece of themselves newly awakened.

Deborah Sawaf and Orietta Pelizzari
A beautiful keepsake by Francesco Gentili, an elegant silk scarf depicting Lake Como, was the final note to an unforgettable symphony of emotion and elegance.
The Power of Words came to life with Deborah Sawaf; Valentina De Santis brought a crucial touch of magic; and Orietta Pelizzari, who bridges fashion, feeling, and intentionality, was the architect behind making the event a reality.

The Silent Narrator of the Evening

A Bespoke Palette
Francesca Valan, the renowned color specialist, curated a bespoke palette for the evening: The Color of Emotion. Her vision translated the language of feeling into hues, with flowers hand-selected not only for their chromatic beauty but also their fragrance and tactile grace.
Her palette became the silent narrator of the evening, whispering emotion through every petal on the table. This color palette was named “Deborah”.
Francesco Gentili, the revered guru of fabric and silk history, gifted us a rare treasure: a historical “Color Palette,” dating back to the late 18th and early 19th century, long before Pantone ever existed. This extraordinary piece, shared in the form of a book, is a portal to centuries of textile artistry and emotional storytelling through color.
As if this weren’t enough, Francesco, with characteristic elegance, presented each lady with an exquisite silk scarf — a poetic memory of the evening, of Como, and of this shared moment in time. Each scarf carried a story, a landscape of history, and a thread of timeless beauty. These moments, woven into the larger tapestry of the evening, made The Color of Emotion at Passalacqua not just an event, but a living memory.
